Pour your coffee, step onto the oceanfront balcony of this newly updated 4th floor condo, and watch the dolphins work the morning swash. Every room of Aqua Vista looks at the Atlantic. The open floorplan pairs comfortable living and dining space with a well stocked kitchen (Keurig and drip coffee makers included) and sliding doors to the balcony you will not stop talking about.

The king master has a private bath with walk-in shower and balcony access. The second bedroom holds a queen bed plus twin bunks (great for kids) and its own balcony door, with the hall bath just across the way. In-unit stackable laundry.

Resort amenities: covered heated pool, fitness center and sauna, a fresh new pickleball court, playground, and beach access with charcoal grills and picnic areas. Our coziest home, sized for one family done right.

Good to know

• Check in after 4:00 PM, check out before 10:00 AM. Contactless: door codes arrive by text the week of your stay
• No pets at this condo. If the dog has to come (we understand), our four beach houses are all dog friendly.
• No smoking, no events. Minimum age of primary renter: 25
• Refundable security deposit: $500. It is held, not charged, and released after checkout if the home is left as you found it. Normal wear is never charged
• Linens, towels, and starter supplies provided. Cleaned to our 140 degree linen and disinfecting standard between every stay
• Cancel 30 or more days before check-in: full refund. Cancel 14 to 29 days before: half of the rent refunded. Inside 14 days: no refund. (Book through Vrbo or Airbnb instead and their fees follow their rules.)

The neighborhood: North Topsail’s quiet end

St. Regis Resort sits on the quiet north end of Topsail Island, where the beach stays uncrowded and the pace stays slow. Inside the resort: the covered heated pool, fitness center with sauna, pickleball, a playground, picnic areas with charcoal grills, and Oceans Edge restaurant on the top floor of building 2. Groceries are just across the bridge, Sneads Ferry seafood is minutes away, and Wilmington is under an hour for a rainy day.
