Gather the whole family tree: Up On The Roof is a true oceanfront duplex, two adjoining homes (Sun and Stars) with mirrored floorplans and a connecting door off the kitchens. Be together for beach days and big suppers, then let the early birds and the night owls retreat to their own sides. Family on one side, in-laws on the other: you decide what peace looks like.
Each unit has a ground floor queen Alcove, an open main level with granite kitchen, dining for 8, powder room, living room with 60 inch smart TV, and a oceanfront deck with the walkway to the sand. Upstairs are a oceanfront king master with private bath, a queen bedroom, and a bunk room, plus a covered deck with steps up to the rooftop deck: fire pits, sunbathing, and 360 degree views of ocean and Intracoastal.
Two full kitchens, two gas grills, two enclosed outdoor showers, free EV charging at both units, and one very uncrowded beach.

The neighborhood: North Topsail’s quiet end
This is the stretch of North Topsail with no public beach access nearby, which means the sand behind the house stays blissfully uncrowded: room for chairs, corn hole, and a football throw without disturbing a soul. A sand bar 30 to 40 feet out calms the surf for young swimmers, tidal pools appear late in the day, and great surf fishing waits around the old pier posts just north. Groceries are across the bridge, our favorite restaurants are minutes away, and Wilmington is under an hour when you want a day trip.

What happens if a hurricane is headed for Topsail during our week?
If a mandatory evacuation order from the Town of North Topsail Beach or Onslow County covers any night of your stay, North Carolina's Vacation Rental Act governs refunds for those nights and we follow it. A storm that does not close the island is not grounds for a refund, so for June through November stays we recommend trip insurance. Ask us and we will point you to it.
